DJ KIll and Mister Ride

In this free adaptation of the myth of Icarus and Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel, The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Charlotte Corman, Émeric Guémas and Jérôme Lorichon offer an authentic immersive experience that combines shadow theatre and musical theatre.
Based on the discovery of a testamentary audio cassette, the show explores the tormented personality of the young DJ Kill and his double, Mr Ride, and questions the possible balance between an individual and a society plagued by contrasting and contradictory emotions. In an urban universe that draws on the codes of hip-hop, the musical and sound design, combining electroacoustics and electronics, is occasionally accompanied by an exploration of images using a colour filter reading process.
Led by the stage duo Mojurzikong, this is a magical live moment combining sound, music and animated images, immersing audiences in urban cultures from the 1970s to the present day.
